C:我有一次打电话给一个很重要的客户,他的秘书接的'电话。那秘书就问我:"MayIaskwhoiscalling?"等我告诉她我的名字后,她又说:"I'msorry.Mr.Mooreisinameeting."你说他是真的在开会,还是不想跟我说话?
M:这我可不知道。但是要是你先报了名字,接电话的人说某某人不在,你就不会有这种疑问了。

C:Todd这个人真是很奇怪。有时候,我打电话给他,他明明在办公室里,而且也不忙,可他就是不接电话。我只好在电话里给他留言,可他好几个小时才回电话,有时根本就不回。
